This Privacy Policy explains how Loaf Tech Studio ("Loaf", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use Loaf Feed, including the website, dashboard, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information, such as your email address, name, and business details when you sign up.
- Instagram connection and content metadata needed to display and refresh your feed through official platform APIs.
- Billing information, invoices, and payment-related records when paid plans are enabled.
- Technical information, such as IP address, device/browser details, request timestamps, and error logs for security and reliability.
2. Visitor privacy on your site
Loaf Feed is designed for privacy-first embedding. We do not use the widget to add advertising cookies, fingerprinting scripts, or cross-site behavioral tracking to your visitors.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and maintain Loaf Feed.
- Sync, cache, and deliver Instagram content to your website.
- Respond to support requests and send service-related communications.
- Protect the service from fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where required by applicable law (including GDPR/UK GDPR), we process personal information on one or more legal bases: contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with trusted providers that help us run Loaf Feed, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, customer support, and payment processing vendors, under appropriate contractual safeguards.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including security, legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We delete or anonymize data when retention is no longer necessary.
7. International transfers
Your information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we apply lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards for international data transfers.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port personal data, and to object to certain processing. 9. Region-specific disclosures
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, you may have additional rights to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you are located in California, you may have rights under CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, subject to lawful exceptions.
10. Data deletion requests
You can delete your Loaf Feed account from the dashboard:
- Sign in to Loaf Feed.
- Open Settings and find Delete account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field, then select Delete account.
Account deletion cancels your paid subscriptions and removes your account, profile, connected Instagram credentials, cached posts, feed settings, linked websites, and usage records from our active database. Your embedded feeds will stop showing posts. This action cannot be undone. It does not delete your original posts on Instagram.
To remove only your Instagram connection, use Disconnect on the dashboard's Instagram page. This removes the stored Instagram access token and cached posts while keeping your Loaf Feed account. Disconnecting Instagram does not cancel a paid subscription.
If you cannot access your account, or want to request deletion of specific personal data, email privacy@loaffeed.com from your registered email address. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before processing your request.
We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Account deletion does not necessarily remove records held separately by payment providers or data retained in backups and security logs. Such retained data remains subject to the retention principles in section 6.
11. Children's privacy
Loaf Feed is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational controls to protect data. No system is completely risk-free. You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and publish the revised policy on this page.
